Misti Ray for Noblesville School Board

Who is Misti Ray?

First and foremost, like many of you, I'm a parent (mom)!  I’m a Noblesville Native & continue to enjoy living here enough to stay & raise my family here!  I’m a mother of three, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, granddaughter & a successful & experienced Realtor since 2009!  We have a 31-year-old, 18-year-old & a 14-year-old.  Yes, there is a big age gap & we love it!  It has worked out well for our family!

I have always loved volunteering & being involved with my children.

Here are a few of my areas of experience:

  • A current member of the Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees, thank you!

  • Served in various roles on the board of the preschool my kiddos attended (Noblesville First United Methodist), including President.

  • Taught VBS at the same church/preschool for a few years.

  • Volunteered in various capacities for elementary, middle & high school.

  • Chaired various events at elementary & middle schools.

  • Held various positions on the PTO including PTO President at NWMS.

  • Held various roles on the board for an HOA for a few years, including President.

  • Held various roles on the board for NEFL (Noblesville Elementary Football League) for several years & counting, including board President.

  • Was a substitute teacher in the district for about five years, until elected to the School Board.

  • Served on the Reading Review Committee for the district in 2018.

  • Attended & graduated the Miller Ambassador Academy 2018 & 2023

  • Served on ELA Curriculum Review Committee

  • Served and continue to serve on multiple committees for Noblesville Schools

As you can see, I’ve been heavily involved in my children's education & extracurricular activities in many aspects over the years. Remember that age gap I mentioned?  Let’s do a little Math: My oldest began Kindergarten at Stony Creek Elementary (also where I attended elementary school) in 2000 & graduated from NHS in August of 2013.  My middle child started Kindergarten at Hazel Dell in August of the same year, 2013.  My youngest is in the class of 2030 which means by the time my youngest graduates, I will have had a child in Noblesville Schools for a CONSECUTIVE thirty years, yes, 30!  This isn’t including my own K-12 Noblesville Schools education!

What makes me the best candidate & why do I deserve your vote?
I’m definitely well experienced with Noblesville Schools!  I have the proven experience, I’m a prominent community member with strong relationships within the community!  We've made great strides in our truth & transparency initiatives along with having a voice for our community & we need to stay the course!  We want communication, we want to be heard as parents & a community, we want our children to come first!  We want to continue the basics of teaching academics while continuing to increase our student outcomes regardless of the path they choose upon graduation.  I know for a fact that we have several phenomenal teachers here in our district.  We have to continue staying competitive so we can attract & retain these wonderful educators & staff members for years to come.  When we have great educators, our students benefit & when our students benefit, so does our community!

As they say, “We’re all in this together”, so let’s vote for Misti Ray so we can keep moving forward to continue showing improvement for our students!  I’m always available to answer any questions or help address any concerns you may have!  Thank you for your vote & I look forward to continuing to represent you & our more than 10,000 students in January 2027!
